(In the family tradition...Takes her first step into the halter arena!)
By Linda Buss
Saturday, January 15, 2005 began a new chapter in the circle of life and the story of Team Midwest.
Lyndsey Boggs, one of David and Terry Anne's twins made her first appearance in the halter ring at the Southern Arizona Horse Show held in Tucson. This elated young handler in her debut won her first of two Championships and added the traditional leap upon her exit from the show arena with Golden Melody (Padron Psyche X WN Samirsgrandlady) and the Half Arabian mare Tequila Rose. Lyndsey is definitely following in the footsteps of her Dad and has made him a very proud papa.
Cheering Lyndsey on in her first appearance were her twin sister, Courtney, her younger sister, Emma, her grandmother Tina and her friends from Minnesota and Wisconsin - Jerry Buss, Judith Wagner & Deanna McNeilly as well as the very supportive Training Team of Midwest.
Upon leaving the show ring after her last class, Lyndsey was overheard asking her Mom, "exactly what did I just win, Mom?" To those that know Lyndsey certainly wouldn't be surprised by her question because she is one of the most intense and centered young people that we have ever met.And she absolutely loves the horses. She focuses on the job in front of her and strives to do her best - she doesn't quit. Lyndsey when asked after the show if she was nervous replied in her quiet voice - "no, but Dad was".

It will be great fun to watch Courtney and Emma enter the ring and follow in Terry Anne's lead in the performance arena in the upcoming Scottsdale show.
Congratulations Lyndsey! Thanks for making Golden Melody look so good - Jerry and I are so proud of you and your accomplishment.
